sambapos v4 Is freeware but not open source and is not for sale

But SambaPOS 3 is not updated nearly a year and has bugs unresolved. Are not provide more support this version? Is it deprecated?

Projects releases source code with the expectation of getting some user and developer contribution. If it gets support from community it lives. I won’t say it deprecated as still a lot of people uses it but I don’t think people interested on an open source solution.
I am interested on an open source solution, I have a small restaurant and am also computer engineer and I like to customize this superb software to my particular needs. I am using it successfully, but I would add things like a button to add transaction documents in the inventory module to add transaction documents inventory items without administrator permissions. I have been studying c #, wpf and prism to achieve this goal. If you could give me some clues would appreciate it.

So you may improve warehouse module to include screens for account transaction document creation but that part is more than one year old and I really don’t remember if V3 contains a warehouse module or how it was implemented. I’m afraid you’re on your own. Current implementation of account transaction creation will probably give some ideas about that.
v3 is very complete, it looks a lot like v4 without some additions ofcourse, like the interface. I imagine that the libraries that prevent it from being open source are DevExpress. I use these libraries and I’m creating my own version of v3, but I would like to collaborate with you on new updates and features in newer versions.

Your in the wrong forum V3 is at sambapos.org this forum is just for V4 and V5
However im pretty sure there wont be any more updates at all to V3, we are now on V5 and V6 is currently being planned. There are also no more updates to V4 as the focus is now on V5 and the future V6
Like i said above if you need support for V3 you need to use the V3 forum, most people here have never used V3 and started out on V4 and upgraded to V5
No, v3 will not have any more updates from origional developer.
The project has moved on with v4 also not receiving any more updates.
V5 is the current version which is still being updated.

Why would that happen, surely you would then just have source code of v4?!?!?
V4 and v5 are not open source…
Why do you need source code?
You realise in v5 there is very little you can’t road it is.

Dear Samba user in V3 how can i reopen a closed ticket and refund item. One more thing for V3 how can i split a total bill into more bill equally and print them individually .

As previously advised this is NOT a forum for V3 please go to the V3 forum at sambapos.org for help with V3. There are specific actions in V4 onwards to do what you want but they are not available in V3
My advice is upgrade to V5 or go to V3 forum for help with V3
