Dear Team

I have configured SERVE NOW AND SERVE LATER as per the Tutorial

Is it possible to have a SERVE NOW setting based on interval ?

For example,

If I set the items for the TICKET status as SERVER LATER and set the time as 10 MINS, It should be sent changed as SERVE NOW Automatically after 10 MINS

IS IT POSSIBLE ?

I know some restaurants use something like that but I don’t find it useful at all.
I prefer the kitchen to see the whole order and separate them by course. This way they can prepare things in advance.

But the above scenario is possible in SAMBA ?

I think there is no built in function to do that.
But I could be done by print it to file and you write your own bat file to print it later.

Yes you could use Execute Automation Command action with a delay of 10 minutes.

In most restaurants that I’ve implemented systems for, which want to use similar systems, simply use an order tag or note on the ticket such as -------------BREAK!--------- or ---------SERVE LATER------------ which gets printed to the kitchen, from there once the customer is ready for mains or other meals, they call it out to kitchen and kitchen ready’s their mains.
