SMS using Voipbuster

Hello. I am trying to send an SMS when work period starts so the owner knows the exact time the shop opens. when I send the sms using a test button from the ticket screen is working . When I put rule to “Work Period Starts” or “Application Starts” or “Work Period Ends” instead of automation command it is not working. Any ideas why?

Some screenshots of your setup would help, showing the working automation and what you have tried on work period end etx

Ok while I am preparing the screenshots a thought came in my mind…the fact that the sms sending feature is going though a printjob is not possible to be executed while a ticket is not open? I have followed the delivery package tutorial.

Yes this is the problem. So I just have to place the button on ticket screen.

I don’t think that should matter. You can fire a Print Job at any time using the Execute Print Job Action.

Personally, I would use the “Send Email” action and as the address, put the phone number followed by @"your carrier. This way, you won’t need a modem or any crazy third-party voip sites.
