Tag column in Orders table

What the purpose of the Tag column in Orders table is?

Because even when Product Tag is set to something, the Orders table Tag column is always NULL or empty

There is Tags and there is Custom Product Tags. You can put something under Tag in the product price editor.

I understand that, but what is this Tag column in Orders table used for? Any specific scenario?

It looks like the “Add Order” action has the Tag field. (Update order does not have the Tag field.)
