The cloud file provider is not running

Just installed the latest samba, from a very previous version.

All was okay on the POS, but ive installed on my laptop to connect to it, but ive ran into a problem before I even try and connect to the datrabase.

I deleted settings and tried to start from scratch so I could just input the DB settings but I cant even get that far, as soon as I open the program I get this error.

“The Cloud File Provider Is Not Running”

Probably something simple…

This seems like a onedrive issue. Is your documents folder on onedrive?

nope, and weirdly ive just deleted the whole program to start a fresh and it throws the same error. Very bizarre

There are a few potential and common causes for the cloud file provider not running error.

  • The File-On Demand feature is turned on
  • Faulty or Buggy Windows Update
  • The OneDrive file syncing feature is disabled
  • Your PC is in power-saving mode
  • Corrupted OneDrive files and folders

That is most definitely because of OneDrive. It looks like at some point you synced your files to one drive and now its broken.

Yes! It can be onedrive error.
