This error looks like there is an issue updating an entity. What are you trying to update when you close ticket?

Hi . Thanks for swift reply.
Am trying to create new ticket

That is typically caused by an execute print job action that contains no actual print job or something not configured correctly in the action.

Thanks, am trying to chech and change the print job acfions that i think might have messed with but, I cant save any change since the system keps on trowing this error and I remain with no other option than to close.

Can you paste the details of that crash?

Yes let me copy now

It says invalid object, ‘ReportSettings’. Does ReportSettings sound familiar to you?

No it doesnt. Have tried to figure it out but. No.
Kindly give me a hint

Did you mean this?

It seems you have a lot of tables that are manipulated.
If you are manipulating the database directly it can cause issues like what you are experiencing.

Hi Jesse. I dont manipulate the the tables in any way. I just configure my management studio and work from samba pos only.

This is the second time we have seen manipulated tables in your database. You should really check and find out how it is happening.

There should not be anything called admin.ReportSettings in your database tables list.
Please stop using MSSMS if you are not sure what you are doing. It is breaking sambapos for you.

It should say dbo.ReportSettings somehow you manipulated it and it is what broke sambapos.

Trust Me Jesse. I take your advise and I can tell you for sure that I dont use it to do anything else than to do mannual backups. Before clear transaction was implemented on samba I used to clear database using Querrey which nevee gave me issues.

I am just telling you what happened. Only you know how it may have happened. But it happened. Tables dont just change that doesn’t happen. Someone manipulated them. This is the second time you have had tables renamed in your database. You should really look into how that is happening or who is doing it.

I am now scared If someone can do this, This I a new site that I am deploying the system and I was doing everything on site from their server. Please can I give you my team viewer credentials you look at it. I need to move on continue trainning today as I work on remaining parts hoping to buy the licence over the weekend. Otherwise ill be forced to set a new db. Kindly

This is highly unusual activity. Its the first time I have ever seen a random case of someone smart enough to just do that. I couldn’t imagine why they would want to go to the trouble to do something like that especially if it is a new setup. I think you are causing it but do not realize it. It would be hard to understand what you are doing honestly.

What SQL scripts if any are you using?

How are you using MSSMS? YOu are not using the Edit Tables function are you?

Ave not used any script so far on this db specifically.
I dont use edit table function for whatsoever.
