Tomorrow morning I update 5.2.7 -> 5.2.18

Hello,

Tomorrow I’ll be updating.

Method: Just runing the Sambasetup5218.exe program without uninstalling.
(DB backup’ed)

1 server + 1 Client (+2 RDP)
Networked printers

Database has changed from 5.2.7 [db 143-143] to 5.2.18 ?

Do I have to worry about the personalisation I made?

  • front page logo changed
  • Using scripts:
    “ProgramSettingValues” table to store some values
    Text file on HD access from scripts
  • Using Save To File printers to save plain text to files on HD with aumatic files naming.

No you can just update it and you will be fine.

Always backup first.

Better Take the backup and update and dont worry nothing will be change as i updated and nothing got change,
