Unregistered License - Invalid Class

This morning, the pos license unregistered and it prevents me from registering the license. This is the error:

All of my terminals shows registered as DEMO

In case anyone finds themselves here, this issue is because of missing or corrupted files from WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) and possibly few other things

Open Powershell as admin

Enter following commands, one after the other as they finish

Step 1 :
net stop winmgmt

Step 2 :
winmgmt /salvagerepository

Step 3 :
sfc /scannow

Step 4 : 
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Step 5 : 
wmiprvse /regserver

Step 6 :
scrcons /regserver

After that, open Services make sure to start following services

Windows Management Instrumentation
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
DCOM Server Process Launcher

Re-run your licensing as admin and it should be OK

Thank you for that @Posflow. This particular case will not happen again with the new licensing from 5.7.14 and beyond (we changed how that works).

There is a couple things to remember with the new licensing engine.

If you need to license more than 1 terminal Open port 10000 in addition to port 9000 on the firewall.
make sure the windows user that sambapos is operating with has permission to write to the C:/Program Files (x86)/Sambapos5/ folder
Lastly run Licensing.exe
