Upgraded to 5.7.22 message server error and no license

just upgraded to latest version 5.7.22 - have server and 2 terminals.

installed on all 3 pc’s. launched server. changed to port 9000. changed on all terminals.

sambapos opens message server error on screen. but says connected in green on screen. and in demo mode. run license.exe… will not update license.

any help?

Licensing changed from v5.7.14. Please refer to this guide for steps to activate your license in the latest release:

this was the fix:

Be sure message server name starts with http://

even when using the ip of the server. you need thehttp://

EX: in my case: http://192.168.11.9

Yeah that’s right. It’s always been like that unless you were using v4 or a very old version of v5 (or you were connecting to messaging server on port 8080)

Yep. Was using ver 5.7.12 but using port 8080
