Hi, we are facing an issue at our outlet regarding the staff discount setup via RFID card.
Currently, the outlet has a staff discount of RM 3.20 configured, where staff can apply the discount by scanning their RFID card. However, the client’s requirement is to limit the staff discount usage to only once per staff per day.
Issue:
At the moment, the system allows staff to use the RM 3.20 discount multiple times in the same day, which is not aligned with the outlet’s policy.
Required Behavior:
Each staff member should be able to use the RM 3.20 discount only once per day.
If the same staff attempts to use the discount again on the same day, the system should block the discount.
A popup or prompt message should appear with the following text:
"You’ve used the discount for today, you may use the card again tomorrow.
Request:
Please advise on the correct configuration, rules, or automation settings in SambaPOS to enforce this restriction. If this requires a custom rule, script, or workaround, kindly provide step-by-step guidance.
