Yes you can add your logo. You can include <BMP>c:\files\MyLogoFilePath.bmp tag in your printer template to display c:\files\MyLogoFilePath.bmp file as logo. You can find some examples if you search forum. See this tutorial for more info about formatting printouts.

If you mean to erase all transactional data yes it is also possible. You can find some solutions if you search forum. Here is an example.

V4 Clear Database Entries

How can I clear the V4 database of all entries after setting it up? Or is there a training mode as in V2?? How about adding a standard feature that will allow the administrator to reset and/or restore the database. For example when the administrator clicks on the reset button sambapos automatically creates a backup which can be used to restore the database entries in case of an error or somebody who is up to mischief. This way the data should be safe

SambaPOS API Integration with NewBook PMS/Booking System

So I thought I would start a fresh topic for this project. After a few emails putting SambaPOS forward to them as a new EPOS software to integrate with I have now received their API documentation and offer of a testing account when ready. I am eager to learn the required code and do all I can myself but will post my progress but any help will be appreciated. I have the API documentation, not sure if its something I can post publicly or not (not worked with APIs before) but I had to request it…

I’m a retired English IT salesman, hoping to help my Son-in-law set up a POS for his small Mexican restaurant in Laos.
We are tech savvy, but not programmers.
Our first questions are about platform choices:

1. Which version of SambaPOS to use? V3 or V4?
2. Which Windows Version? 7,8 or 10?
3. Which database? Preferably from the OpenForum community?
4. Which printer to buy?
   If the answer to any of the above is “it depends”, please answer with suggestions that are the most stable, easy to learn/use and inexpensive.

There isn’t multi language support in V4, you can however customise pretty much everything and type the labels and button, menu and category labels etc in French

V5 will have multi language support but this is still being developed and there isn’t an estimate release date for that yet

Just started working with SambaPos a month ago. Finding it still very confusing but everything is getting better day by day. Version 4 is free with optional Paid modules to expand its capability. Version 5 is not currently free it has a $99 license fee good for unlimited terminals and includes the paid modules from v4.

We have an awesome community that most find superior to many third parties paid support offerings.
