I’d been having constant issues with my till freezing on a daily basis for ages. Nothing would resolve the issue completely however running a scan disk and the repair lessened the occurrences a bit.
I am pleased to announce that after upgrading to windows 11, the freezing issue has gone away (well for at least two weeks 
).
