Windows Surface Tablet to run as a client

Hi, I have a desktop computer that runs as a server and another desktop computer to run as a client but our space is restricted and I am planning to use a Windows Surface tablet to run as a client.
I am kindly asking whether anyone uses that sort of setup, is there any potential issues I need to be aware of?

I used a surface pro without issue. The newer surface gos should work so long as you’ve at least 8GB RAM. But I find the screen size on the small side.

I found a bluetooth keyboard to be helpful (not the MS one).

using surface pro3 since 2017 , it crashes sometimes with wifi when taking orders hangs , it would be good with dock and connected ethernet i think otherwise have no issue .

Thanks all your replies, I bought a second hand Surface Pro i57300 with 8 GB ram, it works just fine.
