Hi, can the work period end automatically for any set time
You can but not recommended.
Automating close work period is possible however it cannot overide normal close work period restrictions so unless all tickets are closed it cannot actually do it.
There is a virtual work periods option however have never used myself and have no interest in its offerings as personally prefer staff to see closing work period as an event as part of their close down procedure.
I recommend Virtual workperiods. It keeps a Workperiods open but it marks the last transaction before a defined starting hour that you set in program settings. It will keep reports accurate and you only need to end wp once a week. Once wp is ended it will auto generate all the week’s work periods.
