Hello Guys,
can someone help me with that?
“Tcp channel protocol violation: expecting preamble”
It has to do with the MessageServer and i have no Firewall on.
I am using Windows 11.

What version are you using?
When does this happen?
What were you in the process of doing?
Is there an exception logged in the log file?

Providing screen shots of the problem allows other members to provide an effective solution quickly. Is message sever installed on port 9000+ ? Are the TCP/IP and named pipes enabled? Were the rules added to the firewall on port 1433?

Hello @Memo i think its the 5.3.6 one version before 5.5.0
Its a new Samba installation and it happens when i m testing the message server conection.
No thats not an SambaPOS error it has to do with SQL server.

Hello @Adam1 Its only an Popup with the message i posted above. Yes the massege server is installed and y disabled all firewalls.

Thanks for the link i will test it with server ip, i did it with the server name because it normaly works.

Be sure message server name starts with http://
