Not able to add Group code / Product category

Hi.,
I am not able to add Group code / Product category

I followed below steps to do

Products->Menu -Editing Menu
Add Category - Then adding products to the category

Even If i logoff and login again, these are not showing up.

You add category in the product itself from Products > Add Product not Menu.
