Question with CLOSE TICKET button

I used to have the CLOSE TICKET button enabled, but now seems to be disabled when entering into ticket view mode from ticket display screen…



Any help would be appreciated!!!

According to my untouched Mapping for the Close button Automation Command, the defaults are:

Enabled States: New,New Orders,Unpaid,Locked,IsClosed
Visible States: *

That is correct, so the enabled states with “*” should be ALL, if I am correct…

OK, I changed it to “New,New Orders,Unpaid,Locked,IsClosed” and now its working… so I asume that the * does not mean ALL…

I have trouble understanding the Enabled and Visible States in the mappings for an Automation Command, but I don’t think * is the same as “All” or “Any”.

I have seen:
*
GStatus=
Gift
GStatus=Gift,Submitted
GStatus=,GStatus=Gift
New
Void
Locked
Paid
New Orders,Unpaid,IsClosed
New,New Orders,Unpaid,Locked,IsClosed
and even blank:
(i.e. (blank) … the State is empty/cleared/undefined)

@gerlandog, by default (as in fresh install), the Close Ticket button has nothing entered for Enabled States and * for Visible States

So, blank for Enabled States would be the equivalent to ALL? and not the *?

Because you have states that also relate to a fully settled ticket (isClosed, etc), * is good for states of an open ticket, but when you need to deal with isClosed tickets too, leaving the state blank works better instead of *,isClosed
