Strange One, I recently moved to 4.1.79 and did not get any of the above.

I think error message is clear enough…

The remote name could not be resolved: ‘www.sambamarket.com

You should allow sambapos to access sambamarket.com to activate modules.

Update:
i have checked the internet access, even with full internet access nothing happens when Active is selected for Database Tool and Database Backup.

Both features are installed and fully functioning so not sure why activate option is still present.

Backup module working.

Can you try clearing license keys from sambamarket.com > My Products page?

I have the same problem. The method of activation is confusing at best. I have tried to pay, tried again, and it tells me I’ve paid but I don’t see any activation codes or anything, and it isn’t obvious how this is handled.

Now the POS (and computer) is not able to do anything because 5 ACTIVATION WARNING windows completely flood the right side of the screen covering a lot of the options…

Any clues on how to deal with this?? I would post a screenshot, except apparently this system does not allow me to do so.

This software is fantastic with the exception of the exceptionally confusing module payments.

From within SambaPOS application not the website… go to Market and in the upper right corner you will see a Login dialog. Click this and use your sambamarket login you created when you purchased the modules. Once you log in you should be able to press activate on each module.

I personally did not find it confusing at all it seemed pretty straight forward to me. Maybe he should make the Login Dialog in the application bigger or something? Like make it take up half the screen maybe? lol just kidding on that.

Below is the process:

Step1: Log into your Account in Samba Market (www.Sambamarket.com)

Step 2: Select My Products then Select “I’ve Chnaged my Database Clear Licence Keys”

Step 3: Load SambaPOS and then Select Samba Market

Step 4: Log-in to your Samba Market Account (i.e My Account name is Morshed1). Then Select Activate for Database Tools and Database Backup

*Activation Completed

Hi guys,

I’m very new to sambapos and am now also getting these warnings too. I do not have a sambapos login and when I click on activate it asks me to enter my login. How do I create this account as I can’t find the option at www.sambamarket.com. I cannot follow the tutorial above as I cannot locate my products (must be because I do not have an account?) Please help?

Hi,

If you don’t have Sambapos login then you have not registered Please refer to below on how to register and buy modules.

Really?

Hi Emre. Can you take a look for me as well please. My username was mustimavi@gmail.com but I can’t login from anywhere not even from chrome I mean. I registered before I bought the tool. I’m sure because chrome has saved my username and password…

@Mustafa Your username is not your email. What did you enter for username?

It was “Mustafa”. Tried that with capital and lowercase but didn’t work either…

so you sure its right password?

Yes because I use google chrome and it saves the passwords… I checked the saved password…

There are two account names with that e-mail. MustafaY & Mustafa2
