hi yall,what has happened to samba market i want to purchase a licence but the market isn’t opening up.How now:disappointed_relieved:
Pretty sure they closed it and now you must get license through mysterious resellers that we are not sure who they are.
LOL, samba licence all of a sudden become gold dust, I have b2b account, sell you one for one million dollars :-p lol
Licence only available through resellers and those who are listed as resellers know even less than the end user!
@muthoga if needs be ill resell you a licence through my account but not taking a loss on it so probably won’t be $99 after curency conversion and tax etc but if this is a sign of how things are to go I won’t hold realisability over licensing issues…
@Tayfun seriously, what is going on? Whatever is happening is not doing the sambapos reputation any good, samba market becomes cp.sambapos.com without any forum mention, licence now only though resellers again without mention on forum.
Your main line of support is this comunity forum and those of us who spend more time than we should on the forum are completely in the dark playing catchup and offering guess work…
Reseller niggles aside none of this is giving the consumer much confidence in samba as a solution…
V4 is safe from reliance on sambapos as a company however your licence system requires trust and security from end user and reseller alike.
How can a reseller who now seems to be only source of a licence happily sell licences without the confidence that tomorrow the samba licence system wont become inaccessible and the end user deam reseller responsable…

License portal was renewed and all licenses are now active in cp.sambapos.com New portal is more secure for users and resellers.
Sambamarket.com and b2b.sambapos.com users can use the new portal with existing username or email and password. Users can activate license if they have Unregistered Trial message by Clear Key button in cp.sambapos.com Users and resellers can reach CP by clicking on Login button on sambapos.com
Direct license sale was stopped, license can only be sold by resellers, but users can reach their license details by logging in the portal. Passwords are secured so only users can receive the password by email.
Resellers can sell license with their regional price according to their regional taxes.
Is this not something you think would have been a good ideal to mention to listed resellers rather than us all having to push for more info?
I dont know if you privatly discussed with kendash or Q but major changes like this would be good to let the forum know - at least in the lounge or business section so those of us who help you support your users know whats happening…
This is a prime example… the field was origionally email, see it has now been changed but we had to guess that old usernames worked… Surely for the sake of 30 seconds you would post on the forum - were updating market to cp, old usernames will work as will emails for accounts already on b2b system…
I might be wrong but the lack of coms from samba on the forum and to suposid resellers is extreemly worrying. Just like the whole emre vanishing senario, handled very poorly.
Hmmm… I think you should automatically grant Kendash and QMcKay Global Reseller for years of community contribution. In case there is no reseller in their countries they can buy from 2 leaders here. Just my 2 cents. 
Yeah, I really wondering and not sure about future of SambaPOS too when Emre has disappeared from and nobody know what going on.

No real responce from Tayfun beyond he’s avoiding distraction while working on next version.
It’s a tad concerning.
Other than limited posts from Tayfun after pestering on market/licence issues there is no official presence on the forum.
Don’t get me wrong I love samba but am relieved I didn’t quit my day job to push the epos side of business 100% as the ought about at one point as current state would be panicking me more than it does.
I get the same problem again today my customer called me and tell me samba saying unregistered trial only on her pc otherwise everything working perfect.
But i repeat its happened 2nd time.
Is this because they are doing changes to sambamarket?
Emre is fine and is working on the next big version I promise you that. I doubt yuou will see him on here again any time soon. And no it was Emre that communicat3d to me and @QMcKay. We are in the dark with the recent revelation. However we do know a little more about the future it’s not our place to say or speculate on it. I will say that the days of rapid info and releases on forum are probably gone.
No it won’t have anything to do with that. Sometimes it happens, there are a number of reasons, usually related to restoring a database, connecting new terminals to name a few.
I believe the clear license functionality is working now on the new sambamarket, but I haven’t tested it myself.
Well i think its great the changes they made this is exactly what I wanted.
I did nothing any of that, that’s a live license and it’s giving trouble just so?
Ok no problem but if resellers atleast get a email so it would be good.
After you activate the license on SambaPOS, logout of the account from the samba market screen in SambaPOS. I have known for the chance of this issue happening to be less if you logout of the account. Nobody really knows why the license loses activation - I have seen it happen with customers who never saw it then suddenly have it happen 3 times in a week, then not again. I wish I had the answers myself, it is very frustrating I appreciate but there is not much we can do about it.
It does periodically check license. How often I am not sure. I’m willing to guess if it can’t get out to internet when it tries to check it deactivates
