Scales for SambaPOS

Hi everyone!

I have a client that needs a scale for the POS and I am hoping someone can provide me with some insight or experience.

Does any scale integrate with SambaPOS?
What ports do I need to look for?
Does the module come with pre configured automation for it or does it need to be configured manually?

If you have a scale that supports serial connection you can try using custom scale device option.

One more question. Do I need to be picky with scale models and brands or will any scale with RS232 port work?

It should work with SambaPOS if it appears to work fine on Putty as explained in the tutorial.
