I have followed tutorial, but found one issue.

When changing course it does change grouping on screen but prints with an old group.

Does anyone have same issue?

How do I make this print in the Kitchen Display like it does on the Kitchen Printer?

I have everything working great (thanks for this!), except when printing to kitchen display. If I change any item to a different course before sending the order, the kitchen display doesn’t recognize the change? Works for the kitchen printer fine but not the display, so I figure my problem is with the printer template for the kitchen display but no idea how to fix it! I’ve included screenshots for all automation and of the order and kitchen display. KD Template below…

It looks like your printer template is using Product Tags. When you change the course, the rule is changing the Courses Order State, not the product tag.

Change your template to use [ORDERS GROUP|ORDER STATE:Courses:APPS,MAINS,DESSERTS]

I have not tested it, but it should solve your problem.
