Start and end work period s

Hello again guys,
I was just wondering if there is any way to auto start and end work period in specific time every day/night ?
I have seen a tutorial on how to do that using actions and triggers but I was wondering if we can do that from the settings?

Use the new feature in v5 for virtual work periods.

Thank you. So basically if the restaurant opens at 11am I should start virtual work period at 11am. This will end up getting proper reports for every working day.

Virtual Workperiods When virtual workperiods feature enabled SambaPOS creates work periods on the fly without the need for opening or closing work periods manually. However these work periods will not save to database until work period manually closes. This is still needed to recalculate inventory and reflect cost numbers but it is not required to trigger it daily. You can enable it from Program Settings > Maintenance > Virtual Work Periods.
