I want to use the ticket tags on the left of the screen to add an Item into the menu.
Basically I want to press the button and it prints a line on the ticket that says Serve First, Hold and Mains Away. I need to be able to hit Serve First, add a few items and then hit hold and add more items that need to be put on hold. Then later i can open the ticket again and hit Mains Away which will print to the kitchen to let them know I want the rest.
If possible I want it to only print items that are tagged with Serve First and not print the rest until Mains Away is pressed.

I have a number of products with 0.00 cost portions. If I add 1 of these items to a ticket on there own, then close the ticket to submit the order the ticket isn’t being created.
If I add a product with a cost eg.5.95 and then a product with a 0.00 cost portion the ticket is created and both items are submitted and show on the ticket.
I have ‘Allow Zero Priced Orders’ selected in my ticket settings
Any help would be great (Running 4.1.36 )
Thanks as ever
Rob
Morning All,
A little while ago I created a newer version of the Kitchen Display. It contains the following
1… Course & Seat options for Orders
2… Marching orders for Course
3… Separate Kitchen queues for Kitchen (no course), Entree, Main & Desserts
4… Kitchen printout grouped by Course
This is a heavily modified version of SambaPOS, so there will be no importing available into existing databases.
This was designed to show that SambaPOS is capable of very complicated work flows.
This is …
I’d like to have a tag that adds a line to an order in a specific location, to separate courses. I’ve already read through http://forum2.sambapos.org/index.php?topic=338.15 but we’re not that sophisticated
We do, however, have items that can either be an appetizer or an entree, and we need to be able to group them based on the tables preference. I have added a menu item, which is basically --------------------, but it cannot have a zero price, and a tag would fit the workflow much bett…
Hi guys,
Not sure whether to start two separate topics, so hopefully @emre can separate the two if needs be.
I’m totally amazed on the versatility of SambaPOS as it is. But there are a few complex features which I understand that a full fledged restaurant (especially with seated service) would require. The most important features are the COURSES and SET MENU functions.
1) COURSES:
Currently, I know that there is already a possibility to send tickets to the kitchen and group different course…
